TypesHolotype: BMNH 1935.11.5.13, Ban Tong, Phaung, N Siam, presented M.A. Smith. 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Small skink; 34 scalerows around body; six supralabials; five infralabials, median suboculars larger than pre- or postsuboculars, the whole series continuous; temporals, 2 + 3 + 4; no nuchals; dorsal scales smaller than ventrals; subcaudals smaller than lateral caudal scales; dorsolateral markings on side reduced; very slight suggestion of a brown stripe dorsolaterally on tail; digits fail to touch when limbs are adpressed; third finger distinctly longer than fourth, all fingers relatively short. Seventy-one scales in a line from parietals to above vent.” (Taylor 1962: 236) 
CommentAbundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after Miss Alice Geogie Cruickshank (Bunty) Grandison (March 25, 1927 – March 24, 2014), “Keeper of Reptiles and Amphibians, Department of Zoology, British Museum, who has kindlyloaned the specimens for study and description.”
