Type locality: La Merced, 1000 m elevation, Peru; Lectotype from “mountains of central Peru, Río Tulumayo, Junín, Peru”.

rhodogaster: Type locality: “Merced, Perené River, 3250 feet”.

lineogularis: Type locality: “Chanchamayo”.

seydi: Type locality: “Peru, La Merced”.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: TORRES-CARVAJAL 2007. 
CommentSynonymy: fide Carvalho 2021.

Distribution: see partial map (Peru) in Venegas et al. 2020: 563. Does not occur in Ecuador as stated by previous authors (e.g. PETERS & DONOSO-BARROS 1970).

Belongs to the clade Anatomegalepis (fide TORRES-CARVAJAL 2006).
