Type locality.- "Nicaragua."

TypesLectotype: USNM 32338, National Museum of Natural History (originally catalogued as USNM 5792, part of a lot), adult (?) female, collected by Wright on North Pacific Exploring Expedition, originally catalogued February-March 1861 and recatalogued 18 September 1903, after being returned to the USNM from Cope's estate (designated by VanDevender and Cole, 1977).
