Type locality: Lapac Island, Sulu Archipelago.

TypesHolotype: lost, formerly BSMP (originally E.H. Taylor number 1991), Lapac, Sulu Archipelago, collected E.H. Taylor, 28.ix.1917; lost in destruction of Philippine Bureau of Science during World War II (fide BROWN & ALCALA 1980).
