Type locality: Komodo Island, Lesser Sunda Islands, Indonesia.  
ReproductionParthenogenesis has recently been reported for this species (WATTS et al. 2006).

Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: SPAWLS et al. (2001) list this species also for Eastern Africa.
