Type locality: Brazil, Mato Grosso, Cuiaba´ (15°36’S, 56°06’W).

TypesHolotype: ZUEC 2083. Paratypes: ZUEC 2084–2091. 
Diagnosis 
CommentMorphology: This species is one of ~20 species of Amphisbaena with two precloacal pores (Ribeiro et al. 2019). 
EtymologyNamed after the (female) people born in Cuiaba, the capital of Mato Grosso State.
