Type locality: ‘‘Porto Bello’’ (= Brazil, according to G. Boulenger, 1890a) and ‘‘Fernando Noronha,’’ Brazil; restricted to ‘‘Fernando da Noronha, Brazil’’ (Gans, 1963: 103).
