Type locality: "Tunnel Cave, Napier Range, Western Australia, in 17° 37'8, 125°14'E."

TypesHolotype: WAM R51043. 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: A very slender, flat-headed, white-snouted blind-snake with snout rounded in profile, 22 midbody scale rows and nasal cleft proceeding from second labial and completely dividing nasal. 
Comment 
EtymologyPresumably named after the Greek trogle (hole) + dytes (diver), alluding to the type locality (Tunnel Cave) for this species. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
