Diagnosis 
CommentThe genus Chamaeleolis was synonymized within Anolis by Hass et al. (1993)

Species group: Xiphosurus chamaeleonides species group (fide NICHOLSON et al. 2012).

Distribution: see map in Rodríguez-Cabrera et al. 2020: 16 (Fig. 1).
