Diagnosis 
CommentThe syntypes of Anolis Petersii are conspecific with the holotype of Anolis biporcatus (KÖHLER & BAUER 2001). See also A. biporcatus. Color image on the cover of Iguana-Rundschreiben 16 (2) [2003].

EtymologyNamed after Wilhelm Peters (1815-1883), German herpetologist.
