Type locality: Carpapata, upper Chanchamayo Valley, northeast of Tarma, Dep. de Junín, Peru.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: An Atractus close to bocourti in coloration, but differing in having ventrals 146 as opposed to the much higher range of 170-182 in females of bocourti known to us.
