Holotype: UF 32596, adult female [uniformis] 
CommentDistribution: C. l. laevigatus not on Komodo fide ZUG & KAISER 2014, but this was an error in the paper. H. Kaiser (pers. comm., 6 May 2015) clarified that laevigatus occurs ONLY on Komodo and uniformis ONLY on Flores. 
EtymologyNamed after the Latin noun “laevigatus”, smooth, referring to the absence of enlarged dorsal scales.
