Type locality: Nasrie in Arabistano, . . . in Persia australo-occidentali’’ 5 Nasrie in southwestern Iran on the Karun River [= Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province, Iran, 31.32 N 48.67 E].

CommentType Species: Diplometopon zarudnyi is the type species of the genus Diplometopon.
