Reproduction	oviparous (phylogenetic imputation, fide Zimin et al. 2022)
Types	Holotype: MNHN-RA 1906.0060 (lost, fide Brygoo, 1987 but apparently extant)
Diagnosis
Comment	Limb morphology: Forelimbs with 2-3 digits, hind limbs with 2-4 digits. Conservation: seems to be very rare. After the original description in 1906 a second specimen was only described by Brygoo in 1987.
Etymology	Named after “M. le Dr. Crenn” from whom the type specimen was obtained. Dr Louis Crenn also wrote a monograph on ophthalmic diseases in Madagascar in 1910.
