Diagnosis 
CommentKLAVER (2008) demonstrated that the original spelling of the name, viz. pollenii is invalid. 
EtymologyNamed after Francois P. L. Pollen (1842-1886), a Dutch naturalist who collected in Madagascar (1863-1866).
