Differential diagnosis: Differs from all two-horned species by the absence of horns in females; also differs from all species, except K. tavetana, by its lack of
dorsal crests in females; and from all species except K. multituberculata by the presence of a tail crest. Differs from all other species (in males) by discontinuous dorsal crest, on anterior third of back and only reappearing on anterior third of tail.
|Etymology||Named after Professor Julius Vosseler (1861-1933), a German zoologist. He was in German East Africa (Tanzania) (1903-1909) and was Director of the Hamburg Zoo from 1910.|
