Comment | This species used to be called Bradypodion/Kinyongia fischeri until it was removed from its synonymy by MARIAUX et al. 2008. Differential diagnosis: Differs from all two-horned species by the absence of horns in females; also differs from all species, except K. tavetana, by its lack of dorsal crests in females; and from all species except K. multituberculata by the presence of a tail crest. Differs from all other species (in males) by discontinuous dorsal crest, on anterior third of back and only reappearing on anterior third of tail. |
