Type locality: Laos  
Reproductionoviparous. A female caught in northern Siam on April 3rd contained 5 eggs (Smith 1943)

Diagnosis 
CommentFor a discussion of nomenclatorial issues concerning the genera Lycodon and Ophites see Zhao & Adler (who listed this species under Ophites). Color picture in Bulian (1999).
