TypesHolotype: SMF 62453 (orig. ZMUZ), a 576 mm male (C. Keller, 1892).
Holotype: MSNM (Milano) [somalica] 
Diagnosis 
CommentHas been considered as a race of Meizodon semiornatus. Not listed in Spawls 1978.
