Distribution	Republic of South Africa, Zimbabawe Type locality: Lake Nyassa. levyi: TM 14421, half-grown male, Type locality: Wankie, Southern Rhodesia (now Hwange, Zimbabwe).

Types	Holotype: BMNH (presumed, status unclear fide P. Campbell, pers. comm., March 2019).
Diagnosis
Comment	Pachydactylus oshaughnessyi katanganus DE WITTE 1953 has been elevated to full species status.
Etymology	Named after A. W. E. O’Shaughnessy, herpetologist of the British Museum.
