CommentP. gaerdesi is phylogenetically nested within Pedioplanis undata inornata.

Similar species: Pedioplanis branchi

Synonymy: FITZSIMONS 1943 listed Eremias inornata ROUX 1907 as a synonym of E. (now Pedioplanis) undata.
