Comment | Not listed by BARTS & WILMS (1997). Its presence in Iran has not been confirmed (Anderson, 1999). |
Etymology | Named after Dr. Richard J. Clark and His wife, Erica D. Clark. Richard was an American zoologist, herpetologist, and ornithologist who retired (1998) from York College, Pennsylvania, where he was Professor of Biology. Erica is also a zoologist and both worked together and co-wrote "Report on a Collection of Amphibians and Reptiles from Turkey" (1973). |
