Reproduction	oviparous
Types	Holotype: BMNH 1946.1.12.76, a 635 mm female (R. Swinhoe).
Diagnosis
Comment	Some species of this genus are venomous although we do not have information about this particular species. Diet: earthworms and toads (Yoshida et al. 2020).
Etymology	Named after Robert Swinhoe, who collected the type.
