Type locality: Tequeyutepec, 7 miles west of Jalapa, Veracruz.

Comment 
EtymologyNamed after Mr. and Mrs. Dyfrig McHatrie Forbes who lived near Vera Cruz, Mexico as planters. Hobart Smith and his wife, Rozella, stayed with the Forbes while on honeymoon.
