Type locality: Booby Cay, east of Mariguana Island, Bahama Islands.

TypesHolotype: USNM 81381. 
Diagnosis

Distribution: The Turks Island population was introduced on Grand Turk, but is now thought to have died out (G. Rodda, pers. comm. 15 Dec 2014). 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality.
