Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Listed as a synonym of S. modestus by Wallach et al. 2014 and previous authors.

Behavior: nocturnal 
EtymologyThe Latin term lividus, meaning “bluish metal-colored” or “lead-colored,” was likely selected to reflect the original coloration of the syntypes. The species description was presented in French.
