CommentDistribution: Has been erroneously reported from Peru (Robert Langstroth, pers. comm.)

Most closely related to S. azureus (fide TORRES-CARVAJAL 2006).

EtymologyNamed after Professor Martin Doello-Jurado (1884-1948) was a zoologist, malacologist, and paleontologist who later became the Director of the Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales "Bernardino Rivadavia," in Buenos Aires (1923-1946).
