Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A Thamnodynastesof typical pattern with smooth or weakly keeled scales in 19-19-15 rows; cloacal plate divided; chin with distinct but not strong chin stripes (as the dark markings characteristic of T. paraguanae); ventrals in males 152-160, females 141-150; maxillary teeth 12-15+2G (about 70% have 13-14+2G).
