Reproduction 
TypesHolotype: RMNH 17419, paratypes: RMNH RENA.17417 (2) and RMNH RENA.17418 (3), females.1972, leg. M. S. Hoogmoed 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: A robust lizard with well developed limbs and a moderately long tail. A pair of transversely enlarged nuchals, the supranasals are separated in all specimens, the prefrontals are separated in about half the specimens. There are two scales between the fourth supraocular and the anterior supratemporal. The number of lamellae under the fourth toe varies between 15 and 17, that under the fourth finger between 11 and 15 (Hoogmoed 1974: 40).
