DiagnosisDiagnosis: “Eine kleinwüchsige Homopholis-Art des auf Madagaskar endemischen Subgenus Bluesodacsglus, die sich von H. (B.) boivini durch geringere Körpergröße und ungefleckte Bauchseite, von H. (B.) sakalan durch die im Proximalbereich mit Tuberkeln verschene Schwanzoberseite unterscheider. Gegenüber beiden Arten ist sie durch ein extrem breites, schaufelförmiges Postfrontale am Schädel gekennzeichnet.” (Böhme & Meier 1980)
