Reproduction 
TypesHolotype. NRC-AA-8331 (AK-R 858), adult male, collected by Akshay Khandekar, Satpal Gangalmale and Swapnil Pawar on 17th April 2023.
Paratypes (n=4; fig. 33). NRC-AA-8332 (AK-R 857), adult male, ZSI-R-28775 (AK-R 859), adult female, same collection data as holotype; NRC-AA-8333 (AK-R 784), BNHS 2880 (AK-R 785), adult females, from near valmiki Plateau (17.22297°N, 73.83487°E; ca. 1020 m asl.), vetti Range, Chandoli National Park in Sahyadri Tiger Reserve, Sangli District, same collection data as holotype. 
DiagnosisDiagnosis (n=5). A small-sized Cnemaspis, snout to vent length less than 33 mm (n=5). Dorsal pholidosis heterogeneous; weakly keeled, granular scales intermixed with large, weakly keeled, irregularly arranged tubercles, enlarged tubercles gradually increasing in size towards flank, tubercles in lowest row short spine-like; 10–12 rows of dorsal tubercles at midbody, 17–19 paravertebral tubercles between forelimb and hindlimb insertions; gular scales granular, smooth, oval, flattened and subimbricate; ventral scales subequal from chest to vent, smooth, subcircular, subimbricate with rounded end; 25–27 scales across belly at midbody, 120–133 longitudinal scales from mental to cloaca; subdigital scansors smooth, mostly entire, unnotched; 10 or 11 lamellae under digit I of manus and pes, 15–17 lamellae under digit Iv of manus and 16–19 lamellae under digit Iv of pes; males with three or four femoral pores on each thigh separated medially by 21–23 poreless scales; tail dorsum with strongly keeled, granular scales, similar in size and shape to granular scales on midbody dorsum, gradually becoming larger, flattened, imbricate posteriorly, intermixed with enlarged, strongly keeled, distinctly pointed, conical tubercles forming whorls, 6–8 tubercles in first eight whorls; median row of subcaudals Type A. Dorsal colouration light brown with dark vertebral chevrons that continue onto tail, dark ocellus on neck (Fig. 22G, H). (Khandekar et al. 2024)
