| Diagnosis | Diagnosis. A Dendrelaphis with 15 scale rows at midbody, 171 ventrals, 130 subcaudals, total 301; fourth, fifth, and sixth supralabials border orbit, the sixth the longest, extending posteriorly to form about one third of the orbital edge; temporals 1+1, the anterior bordering the seventh supralabial; dorsolateral light stripe not bordered by a dark stripe dorsally at midbody.
