DiagnosisDiagnosis. “Eine Art der Gattung Ophisaurus ohne äußerlich erkennbare Hintergliedmaßen, mit großer Ohröffnung, voneinander getrennten paarigen Praefrontalia, einem schmalen Interparietale, das nur wenig breiter ist als ein Parietale, mit einem kleinen paarigen akzessorischen Schildchen zwischen dem Außenrande des Frontale und dem 1. und 2. Supraoculare sowie mit 3 Schuppen in einer Linie zwischen dem Nasenloch und dem unpaaren Praefrontale.” (Mertens 1959)
