Comment	Synonymy: Cheke (1984) considers Janetaescincus veseyfitzgeraldi a synonym of J. braueri. The species is now considered as a juvenile of J. braueri. However, the 2 species are about the same size. Reference images: see Uetz et al. 2024 for high-resolution reference images for this species.
