DiagnosisDiagnosis: Ventral plates trapezoidal, with notches be- tween plates, in 6 longitudinal rows; enlarged marginals lacking or few in number; collar strongly serrated; usually 2 superposed postnasals; one or two preoculars (Fig. 114); usually 20-26 temporal scales; fifth submaxillary small; 12-16 femoral pores, row ofpores not reaching knee (Anderson 1999: 237).
