Type locality: Bunya Mts National Park, SEQ (26°53'S 151°37'E), in rainforesl near Tim Shea Falls.

Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after the skink’s large size.
