Diagnosis 
CommentRevalidated by OTA et al. (2000). Has been considered as a synonym of L. lugubris by BAUER (1994) and others. 
EtymologyNamed after the Latin noun “intermedius”, intermediate. The name was proposed by Darevsky in allusion to the intermediate morphological position of this species between Lepidodactylus lugubris and Lepidodactylus lombocensis.
