DiagnosisDIAGNOSIS: Lagartiia de tonos grisáceos, con escamas dorsales y temnorales débilmente carenadas. Con cuarenta y cinco escamas al medio del cuerpo. Diseño formado por manchas dispuestas transversalmente. (Donoso-Barros 1975)

CommentLOBO (2001) suggests the following monophyletic species groups within Liolaemus: alticolor, altissimus, gravenhorstii, hellmichi, kriegi, leopardinus, monticola, nigromaculatus, nigroviridis, pictus and tenuis.
