Reproduction	oviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022)
Types	Holotype: ZMB 23043, collected by BÜRGERS in 1912 or 1913. Paratypes: ZMB
Diagnosis
Comment	24–26 midbody scale rows; seven supralabials; 18–22 lamellae under toe IV; and a cream vertebral stripe that broadens towards the tail, bordered by a dark line on each side (from DAS & AUSTIN 2007).
Etymology	Latin “northern” for the location of the type locality.
