| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A small species of Nactus growing to about 33 mm from snout to vent; dorsal scaling fine without enlarged tubercles; ventral scales flat and smooth; inner postmental scales present and in contact with each other; a long series of preano-femoral pores in males; proximal subdigital lamellae enlarged but undivided, with short adhesive setae; cloacal tubercles 1 or 2 on each side. Anterior margin of dorsal exposure of frontal bone not markedly tridentate; two pairs of ribs attaching to the sternum and two to the xiphisternum; autotomic tail vertebrae with transverse processes directed obliquely backwards. A pattern of broad, dark transverse bars above.
