Type locality: 2 km N of Te Anau township, Otago.

Diagnosis 
CommentHas been previously included in L. lineoocellatum. 
EtymologyNamed after Greek Chloros‐ (adjective, χλωρός, meaning “bright green”), and Greek noton = back, for the green dorsal side.
