| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A large, short legged, chocolate-red colored species of Pseudotrapelus with white ocelli on the dorsum (up to 8 dorsal scales per white ocelli, each white ocelli with dark chocolate red marbling), with the 3rd toe longer than the 4th, with 16 lamellae under the 4th toe, with 6 unseparated well developed precloacal pores in males, and with no enlarged scales in the occipital area of the head and dorsum. |
