Diagnosis	Diagnosis: A Pseudoxyrhopus with 25 rows of dorsal scales at midbody, a loreal scale usually almost as high as long, parietal scales longer than frontal scale, anal plate divided or entire, 199-217 ventral scales, and a red body with 3-5 dark brown dorsal longitudinal lines on body.
Comment	P. trietaeniatus is known only from the holotype. P. dubius is known only from 5 specimens. Synonymy: RAXWORTHY & NUSSBAUM synonymized P. dubius with P. tritaeniatus.
Etymology	Named after the 3 (to 5) dorsal longitudinal lines.
