Type locality: Sumatra: Mt. Singalang, Alahan Panjang 1500 m  
Reproduction 
TypesLectotype: MSNG 27869, Mt Singalang, W Sumatra, collected O. Beccari, 1878. Designated by Capocaccia (1961). Also given as type in the BMNH online catalogue, as BMNH 1946.8.3.11.
