Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A slender species of Typhlops with 24 scale rows anteriorly, reduced to 22 posteriorly; preocular in contact with third upper labial; light brown above and white below, the junction distinct but irregular. There are only two other species of Typhlops in the West Indies that have 24 scale rows: dominicana, and some specimens of biminiensis. Color alone will separate this form from dominicana, whereas biminiensis has the preocular in contact with both the second and third upper labial.
