Diagnosis
Comment	Type species: Leiolopisma zia INGRAM & EHMANN 1981 is the type species of the genus Harrisoniascincus WELLS & WELLINGTON 1984: 30.
Etymology	An arbitrary combination of letters meant to draw attention to an otherwise drab brown skink. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
