TypesHolotype: MNHNC 3821 (Mus. Nac. Hist. Nat. Chile, Santiago), by original designation. 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: NUÑEZ et al. 2011 (in Spanish). 
CommentGroup: This species belongs to the palluma group (fide LOBO et al. 2015).

Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality.
