Diagnosis	Diagnosis (original): Eine Rasse von Agama agama, die sich durch eine etwas erhohte Zahl der Schuppen um die Rumpfmitte (63 — 78) und durch Farbungsmerkmale, vor allem durch den Besitz eines rostbraunen welligen Lateralbandes bei den erwachsenen Weibchen auszeichnet.
Comment	Subspecies: The rank of the two subspecies boensis and mucosoensis is questionable (WAGNER et al. 2009). However, WAGNER et al. 2012 elevated mucosoensis to full species status.
Etymology	named after the type locality.
