Anolis luteogularis luteogularis. Pinar del Rio Province, east to La Habana Province. Type locality: San Diego de bs Bafios, Pinar del Rio Province, Cuba.

calceus: Ciénaga de Zapata (syntopic locally with A. I. jaumei [Garrido and Jaume, 1984]).

coctilis: Archipiélago de bs Canarreos.

delacruzi: Isla de la Juventud.

hassleri: Isla de la Juventud.

jaumei: Peninsula de Zapata.

nivevultus: exteme western Cuba.

sanfelipensis: Cayos de San Felipe.

sectilis: Isla de la Juventud.

Species group: Deiroptyx equestris species group (fide NICHOLSON et al. 2012). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin luteus = golden yellow, and gula, gularis = throat, after the yellow to orange dewlap.

A. l. hassleri was named after W. F. Hassler who described Anolis luteogularis with G. K. Noble.
