Diagnosis 
CommentHas been removed from the synonymy of N. cupreus by KÖHLER & KREUTZ 1999.

EtymologyNamed after Greek makros (μακρός), long; large in size or degree, great + Greek phallos (φαλλός), membrum virile, phallus, or a figure thereof. [“...Schwanzbasis auffallend stark aufgetrieben...”].
